Safety is a very important consideration for flying radio controlled aircraft. As a chartered club in the AMA, all members are required to maintaing individual membership in the AMA. As a member of the AMA, each individual is responsible to abide by the National Model Aircraft Safety Code.
In addition to the AMA safety code, the following site specific rules must be complied with:
1 - There must be a SFFF member present to conduct flight operations.
2 - Flying is permitted on on Sundays and during national holidays if there are no other activities ongoing on the campus.
3 - Flight operations are to be conducted south of the northern shoreline of the pond.
4 - Frequency pin must be attached to Alligator warning sign before turning on transmitter.
